來自RWTH Aachen University in Germany 以及 UC San Diego 所聯手打造出來的 Slap Widgets。主要概念是利用矽膠的介面來讓使用者在 Multitouch 的桌面上面能夠有更多的觸感。而所用到的技術非常簡單，就是在每個不同 widget 的矽膠下面貼上反光 pattern，如此就可以來辨認不同的 widget 了。這個研究在 CHI 2009 上面也可以看到。

Mercedes SplitView
Mercedes-Benz and Bosch are working on a Splitview navigation screen for the S-Class that features an eight-inch screen that displays two images at once courtesy of new adjacent pixel technology. The system only allows the driver to see navigation and COMAND controls, while the passenger sits back in S-Class luxury watching the movie of his or her choosing. The front passenger can also choose to listen to the movie with high-end headphones, or the soundtrack can be played through the car's speakers.
